About Me

My running journey began as a kid, where I used running to complement my rugby league and spent several years competing in Little Athletics.

It wasn't until years later that I found my way back and what started as a mental reset quickly became a passion, and I discovered the physical and mental benefits that consistent running can provide.

Since returning to the sport, I've been fortunate to race across almost every distance and terrain. From 5km and 10km track races to road and trail half marathons, marathons, 100km events, 100-mile ultras and completing the 240km Coast to Kosciuszko three times. Whether it's chasing a fast personal best on the road or spending hours on technical trails, I believe every distance offers its own unique challenge and reward.

Working shift work for more than 20 years and recently becoming a father has taught me firsthand how difficult it can be to fit training around work and family commitments which is why I believe in creating realistic, sustainable plans that fit into real life, as this is how I have to train. More than anything, I want to help others experience the same positive impact that running has had on my mental and physical health, while showing that with consistency and the right approach, anyone can achieve their goals.
